Thriving CPA firm located on the Northshore is currently seeking an experienced Part or Full- Time Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Full charge bookkeeping: monthly, quarterly and/or annually for our clients
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis
- Process weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual tax filings (including sales / meal tax, quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, various 1099 forms, etc.)
- Prepare reconciliations (i.e., bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, general ledger accounts, etc.)
- Prepare payroll for clients
- Prepare financial statements
- Assist in establishing, documenting, and evaluating internal processes for the best client experience
- Whatever is required to provide high level service to our clients
Qualifications:
- 3+ years previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Experience with QuickBooks (3 years preferred)
- Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong organizational and accuracy skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
