Progress Inc. is a provider agency that has been providing supports to adults with intellectual disabilities and seniors since 1971. Progress provides day, residential and employment assistance for the individuals we serve through DIDD and ECF funded programs throughout Davidson and surrounding counties.

We are currently hiring motivated and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered supports for a young female with intellectual disabilities in her nice private home in Franklin.
- Available Shifts:
Mon. - Fri. 4pm - 12am midnight
Mon. - Fri. 12am midnight - 8am
Weekends (Sat. and Sun.) 8am - 8pm and 8pm - 8am
Duties:
- Have conversation and interact just as you would with family and friends
- Remain awake and alert during client's sleep hours to ensure safety and provide assistance if wakes up
- Engage in activities the person(s) supported wants to do. (Have conversation, play games, watch sports / movies, go on outings in the community, etc.)
- Assist with regular night time and morning activities: food preparation, dressing, hygiene, etc.
- Perform routine cleaning and light chores around the house during shift
- Help the people we serve achieve their goals and be integrated and involved in the community
- Complete and submit daily documentation
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma
- Must not be listed on any registries reporting any form of fraud or abuse
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have valid DL, vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
- Must be able to complete approximately 30 hours of PAID pre-service training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
