NAEYC Accredited, non-profit preschool in Los Altos is seeking a Teacher or Aide. Los Altos-Mountain View Children's Corner Inc. believes the primary purpose of early childhood education is to develop each child's innate love of learning and discovery. We provide a child-centered, developmentally appropriate program that balances structure and exploration, allows children to explore new skills, and gain confidence and motivation from their emerging abilities. Student to teacher ratio is 6:1 to 8:1.
HOURS: 40 hours a week, 9:45am -5:45pm, monthly staff meetings, and special events.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-AA or BA preferred in child development or
- 12 to 18 semester units or willingness to complete
-Minimum of 1 years classroom experience
-California Child Development Permit or willingness to apply
-Team player and able to work with diverse groups
-Good observation skills
-Willingness to learn new tasks and exhibit a "whatever it takes" attitude
-Must be able to meet the physical demands of working with young children
-Ability to be flexible and multi-task
-Proactive, resourceful, creative, willing to ask questions and follow directions
