Position Title: U.S. Air Force, 309th Software Engineering Group (SWEG), Security Supervisor
The 309th SWEG located at Hill AFB, Utah, encompasses hardware engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity, cloud security, program management, consulting, data management, software development and Information Technology (IT) operations.
The Security Supervisor provides and manages round the clock security support staff to monitor daily activities, entrance/exit surveillance and routine or emergency support services for the protection of all 309 SWEG developed workload, employees, contractors, and visitors.

Security Clearance Level: Secret, Tier 3
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide onsite supervisory personnel for security support staff performing work at Hill AFB.
Schedule and assign tasks to security support personnel.
Guard and protect all Government personnel, information, documentation, material, buildings, equipment, property, and operations from unauthorized access, theft and/or sabotage.
Monitor all entry/exit control points into classified spaces within their assigned facilities.
Responsible for all access control procedures at entry desks through the identification of personnel and visitors to control entry/exit from 309 SWEG facilities.
Issue appropriate badges to personnel and visitors following review of visitor requests and other applicable background information IAW the 309 SWEG procedures.
Conduct 100% hands-off inspections of all hand-carried items at all entry points, both inbound and outbound, to ensure prohibited items are not introduced to or removed from the facility.
Respond and assist 309 SWEG Government and Contractor employees, as well as visitors and emergency response personnel involving security and safety-related situations.
Cooperate and comply with investigative agencies and law enforcement in connection with potential or suspected violations of law against the Government, including maintaining the scene to preserve evidence in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in the conduct of preliminary inquiries related to the loss and/or theft of Government property and personal property and other security related incidents occurring within their areas of responsibility.
Monitor and respond to required personnel when security alarms from intrusion detection systems and other protection devices or equipment are alerted.
Monitor fire protection systems for their assigned locations and ensure unrestricted access by the Fire Department and/or medical teams.
Monitor and respond to building conditions, alarm systems such as gas, fire, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, as well as site security systems and infrastructure discrepancies.
Reporting incidents to required Government personnel and local off-site agencies when required.
Monitor weather conditions and coordinate with Government Facilities personnel for snow removal.
Knowledge and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge and experience utilizing DoD approved security systems, such as Defense Information Security System (DISS), National Industrial Security System (NISS), and NISP Central Access Information Security System (NCAISS).
Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, military personnel, contractors, and/or visitors.
Experience working with Department of Defense agencies.
Prior military experience is desired.
