Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
1. General Policy
a) Ensure all equipment, building and plant operations are SAFE and in good working condition.
b) Responsible for maintaining and improving the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS).
c) As part of PMS, measure and record screw/rotor and barrel/chamber wear – take action as needed.
d) Plan, organize and execute tasks and/or repairs.
e) Implement engineering changes to equipment as necessary.
f) Responsible for repairs of equipment in a timely manner.
g) Responsible for installations of new and existing equipment.
h) Work with Contractors, Vendors, OEM Suppliers and Machine Shops as necessary.
i) Responsible for Critical Spare Parts inventory and communicating part orders as needed / predicted.
j) Predict parts orders as needed due to performance wear and fatigue of equipment.
k) Ensure schedule and delivery of parts and equipment are communicated as needed to eliminate down time.
l) Member of Safety Committee (if requested).
m) Create and track performance data points for equipment when needed. Demonstrate skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
n) Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematic diagrams and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
o) Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
p) Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines.
q) Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner.
r) Implement capital expenditure projects on-time, on-budget, right the first time and safely.
s) Maintain tools and gages in good working condition and well organized.
t) Follow all Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures.
u) Uphold the Code of Conduct standards.
v) Support Continuous Improvement Teams (CIT) as needed.
w) Other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager and Eng. & Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
1. Education:
a. Must have High School diploma or of equivalent value.
b. Must have completed vocational school Industrial Maintenance program or have two years (minimum) work experience in the field of Industrial Maintenance.
2. Experience:
a. Ability to operate a fork truck and articulate boom.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
