Guala Closures North America, a part of Guala Closures Group, is looking for an exceptional Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Fairfield plant.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Delivers outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Manages the order entry, weekly reporting and follow up with customers and internal groups regarding requests for pricing, changes, issues, delays, and quality complaints.
- Tracks and reports status updates on sea, air and import truckload freight shipments.
- Responds to customer service issues in a timely manner.
- Must be a team player, able to effectively prioritize and multi-task, and work well under demand to meet deadlines.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including sales, global inter-company plants, warehouse, and management.
- Arrives to work, appointments, meetings, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
- Resolves problems by clarifying the customer's issue, determining the cause, reaching out to the appropriate team for initial contact and a response plan. Effective at explaining the response plan to the customer to solve the problem, expediting the correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
- Assists/attracts potential customers by answering product questions and sending samples. Maintains a current working knowledge of Guala Closures products.
- Assist the accounting team with resolving AP/AR issues.
- Other project coordination, development and administrative duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma.
- 2 years of experience in customer service or inside sales.
- Previous experience in the wine, spirits or packaging industry is preferred.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time providing support for clients via email and phone.
