**Core Hours are Monday-Thursday, 5:30am-3:30pm. Overtime with notice.
**$26.50-$29.00/hour depending upon maintenance experience. Benefits start day ONE of employment.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is an experienced self-starter with strong problem-solving and repair skills. This technician will be able to maintain, diagnose and repair manufacturing and facility equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support safe work practices and 5S
- Install and maintain a wide variety of equipment from complex automated machines to manually operated machines and tools
- Use technical drawings, maintenance manuals and equipment phone support to diagnose and repair machines and equipment
- Perform factory equipment moves and installation activities
- Perform preventative maintenance of assigned machines and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing environment required with *electrical/controls experience (PLCs & Automated Machines)
- Able to read electrical schematics
- Able to troubleshoot machines
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems such as resin pumps preferred
- Must possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Must be a self-starter and be detail oriented
- Must have good computer skills
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all functional areas in the facility
- Flexibility for overtime, including some weekends, as needed (often tied to production schedule)
Physical Requirements: Frequent standing and lifting of heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Frequent walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, squatting, kneeling, stair climbing, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.
