F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a dynamic and personable individual to join our team as a Showroom Greeter/Administrator for its Piscataway, NJ location. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Frank Webb Home visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure a positive experience for all guests. This position requires excellent communication skills, a highly professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome Visitors: Greet all showroom visitors with warmth and professionalism, providing a friendly and inviting showroom atmosphere.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and delivery scheduling.
- Phone and Email Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries promptly and courteously, routing messages to appropriate staff members as needed.
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including PO placement, delivery scheduling, and other clerical tasks as assigned.
- Maintain Showroom Appearance: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times, including sample library upkeep and coordinating orders for additional marketing materials.
- Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after their showroom visit to gather feedback and address any outstanding questions or concerns.
- Extra Support: Facilitate the Frank Webb Home destination showroom experience for all customers by fulfilling miscellaneous duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Prior work experience in a plumbing showroom, customer service, administrative support, or retail is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an exceptional level of professionalism and proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office suite). Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems a plus.
- Schedule Availability: Availability to work Saturdays as needed
- Organization and Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Adaptable Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with colleagues in order to contribute to a positive team environment whilst thriving in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing customer needs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
