Overview
Job Summary
Assists with maintenance of supplies, equipment, unit cleanliness, and other non-nursing duties under the supervision of the RN. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
Essential Functions
- Ensures that all regulatory agency requirements are met and attends meetings affecting operations with various agencies.
- Ensures that MedCenter Air Communications Center is staffed for 24/7 operation as needed.
- Maintains records verifying operational readiness of all equipment and assets of assigned area of the Communications Center.
- Evaluations team member performance and completes appraisals and disciplinary actions.
- Schedules and conducts team member meetings to communicate departmental and organizational changes.
- Acts as a liaison with various leadership regarding both ground and flight ambulance operational issues.
Conducts orientation for new team members and coordinates continual education of team.

Physical Requirements
Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, stooping, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support up to 51 pounds of weight in handling equipment and supplies. Intact sense of sight and hearing. Requires manual dexterity.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
