We are seeking a traveling Construction Site Superintendent to join our federal team supporting Electronic Security (ESS) projects at various military and other federal government sites in the United States (military friendly, but experience is not required). This role will be the on site leader supervising the field construction process of assigned projects in accordance with the project plans and specifications, to ensure that each phase of the work is completed safely, on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer

Location: Remote / Virtual with ability to travel extensively. Will primarily support long-term assignments, typically 6 months to a year in duration. Housing is provided by the company near the project site along with daily per diem.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 based on experience (this does not include the daily per diem while at the project site)

Vacation: 3 weeks of paid vacation, 3 floating holidays, 5 sick days, and 10 standard holidays per calendar year. (6.5 weeks of paid time off in total)
As a Superintendent, you will:
- Supervise, inspect, review, record and report on all site construction related activity ensuring that the assigned subcontractors perform their work on schedule.
- Understand and develop means and methods for the construction/installation requirements of the particular project (in conjunction with Project Manager).
- Supervise and coordinate activities of all employees and subcontractors.
- Assist with quality control functions per contract (COE) requirements (submittal reviews, daily reports, preparatory meetings and other quality control program features) to ensure project document controls are in compliance with contract requirements.
- Enforce, facilitate and follow Company and contract safety requirements. Assist with SSHO functions per company standard practices and per contract (COE) requirement if required per the position.
- Schedule and plan work tasks, monitor progress of work with schedule updates (in conjunction with Project Manager)
- Assists with preparing budgets and forecasts (in conjunction with Project Manager)
- Coordinate inspections, verifications, tests, and other contractual requirements with client.
- Participate in regular project/site meetings with subcontractors, architects, engineers, client representatives and other groups.
- Direct and coordinate subcontractor activities.
- Is the primary management team member on the site on a day-to-day basis to identify and correct issues or deficiencies and/or escalate issues and deficiencies up the management chain to Project Manager and/or regional management.
- Conducts self study (reading, research and practice) to improve and maintain technical proficiency in company's product lines. Completes certifications as required by the company.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project coordination and supervision experience with construction and/or installation projects in the commercial and/or industrial building construction industry.
- Experience overseeing multiple trades related teams in the construction industry, preferably with electrical teams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for employee supervision and client interface.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and basic Windows environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances at level required for assigned projects (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with commercial or industrial Electronic Security System projects (access controls, intrusion detection, CCTV cameras, etc)
- Experience working with Federal and/or State government projects
- Experience working with larger project scopes ($1 million or larger)
Preferred Education
- Associate Degree in electronic or mechanical systems, or equivalent work experience
- Industry certifications in Softwarehouse, Lenel, Bosch, Genetec, or other relevant systems preferred.
