JOB DESCRIPTION: We are a growing Fee For Service private practice focusing on high-quality Restorative & Cosmetic Dentistry. Our practice is seeking an Office Administrator to join our fantastic team. The position requires a highly motivated and inspirational teammember who will help take our team to the next level of patient care. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferred experience in Customer Service-Oriented positions
- Minimum 1-3 years experience Customer Service-Oriented Profession
- Comfort and Confidence speaking to patients over the phone & in person (i.e. active listening skills, articulate the Office's information, etc...).
- Strong written, verbal, and customer service skills
- Required- Strong computer skills with experience with Apple devices and Google Drive
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and prioritize in a busy environment
RESPONSIBILITIES: main categories comprised of:
- (a) Answering the phone, responding to patients texts through Weave, confirming appointments, replying to emails, collecting patient copayments, scanning documents, keeping patient charts updated (address, phone number, insurance, etc.), and many more clerical tasks.
- (b) Knowing the schedule, keep team informed of any changes made, possible delays, and added production. Following up with patients who have unscheduled treatment and ensuring they schedule.
- (c) Following up with denied claims upon patients request, resubmiting dental claims, and submitting dental claims on behalf of the patient. Track patient accounts receivable and outstanding balances to ensure timely payment. Total day sheets and create daily deposits making sure all amounts balance, including full production amounts. Ensure that all production is posted to the correct provider
