Westbrook Health Services is seeking a Grant Budget Analyst to join our growing team! The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields
The Grant Budget Analyst performs a variety of duties associated with the preparation, monitoring and reporting of grant budgets. This role is responsible for data integrity and provides budget variance reporting for the programs. This position is responsible for the invoicing and reconciliation of local, state, and federal grants. This position can be hybrid remote for the right candidate.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Responsible for all grant journal entry requests, verifying funds, ensuring legality of transfer, and monitoring approvals as needed
- Assists in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating the grants budget process, assuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, standards and procedures.

Utilizes computer software programs to produce multiple technical reports.

Assists program/division directors with grants budgeting questions and concerns.

Maintains grant budget files & procedures
- Responsible for the creation of budget process that includes compiling, analyzing, and monitoring agency-wide grant budgets.

Assists with year-end closing and external audits

Establishes/maintains current files for reporting, verify for accuracy when process is completed.

Complies with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations

Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations

Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior
Qualification Requirements:

Excellent attention to detail working accurately and efficiently under time constraints.

Motivated self-starter that can work and complete tasks with little supervision.

Utilize excel and create calculations, lookups, pivot tables and other excel functions to complete worksheets needed for efficiency of completing most job duties.

Experience in non-profit accounting a plus.

Able to use basic office machines such as computer systems with programmed software and fax machines.

Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals to convey and receive information effectively.

Must work well in a team environment.

Work with staff, consumers, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful and effective manner.

Ability to work with a diverse group of people.

Prior Experience with Grants is a Plus
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required or an equivalent combination of non-relevant education and relevant experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience in non-profit accounting preferred. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background checks.
