The Problems You’ll Solve
The National Service Recruitment Coordinator will support NYC Service’s national service (AmeriCorps)
programs, reporting to the National Service Operations Director. Responsibilities include but are not
limited to the following:
AmeriCorps Member Outreach & Recruitment
- With the National Service Operations Director, develop outreach strategy and plan to recruit
and engage a cohort of 150+ AmeriCorps members at chosen host sites.
- Develop and oversee member application process, with input and support from National
Service Program team.
- Attend 10+ career fairs and community engagement events annually, specifically aimed at
recruiting AmeriCorps members from throughout NYC.
