Receiving Clerk
POSITION SUMMARY
Receive and manages incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing the received items, delivering items/product to the correct department, processes all paperwork in a timely manner, and ensures that safety regulations are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of goods received.
- Mark stock items using correct identification information, and store items in an orderly and accessible manner in designated inventory locations according to the Macola system.
- Ensure deliveries are accurate.
- Look for damage to goods that may have occurred during shipping.
- Remove packaging materials and stock items with inventor.
