The Role
The main goal of a Sales Consultant is to provide a tailored experience to all customers who come in to VonDerAu Ford and assist the customer through the vehicle purchasing process. Sales Consultants will accomplish this by handling all walk-in, phone call, and email guests, answering questions, educating the consumers about Ford products, conducting test drives, and getting the customer familiar with the vehicle. Additionally, the Sales Consultant will assist the customer with ordering process, trade evaluations, and financing options. A major responsibility of the Sales Consultant is to conduct education-based sales conversations and business dealings in a way that creates a superior customer experience that represents VonDerAu Ford values.
Responsibilities
- Welcome walk-in guests, answer questions and generally manage the customer’s Ford experience in a positive way
- Educate the public about Ford vehicles through enthusiastic conversation.
- Help with arranging inventory on the lot.
- Achieve store/personal aims as per metrics
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources.
- Work with Sales Manager to understand current vehicle talking points.
- Utilize, update and maintain information in VonDerAu Ford’s CRM System.
- Educate new owners by conducting a comprehensive vehicle orientation, tailored to the individual customer’s needs and comfort level.
- Demonstrate a mastery of all Ford products and services.
- Work to achieve high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), and overall consumer experience.
- Maintain Ford Certification
- Train in the Sales Process

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
