Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist in seating guests efficiently and effectively
- Manage waitlist and reservations
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Proficiency in using POS systems to manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Strong guest service skills to provide a welcoming and hospitable environment
- Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food service procedures and guest relations is a plus
