The Inventory Transfer Clerk is responsible for stock shipments and procurement between our two warehouses, located in New York and Connecticut. Our ideal candidate should be proficient in excel and have excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Generate hourly transfer report and initiate sales orders between warehouses.
- Check availability with local vendors to fulfill special orders.
- Create, ship & receive purchase orders between our two warehouses.
- Communicate with warehouse team members regarding any inventory discrepancies.
- Contact customers with availability on special ordered items.
- Monitor warehouse shipment details and confirm sales orders.
Requirements:
- ** Excellent attendance and punctuality are required for this position. **
- Previous experience with data entry or warehouse inventory is preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain professionalism under pressure.
- Superior organizational skills.
