Schedule
Job is primarily remote, with occasional visits to client sites (Colorado Springs, CO and San Antonio, TX) as needed.
Requirements
Applicant must be able to obtain a US Government Top Secret Clearance and MUST be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering related discipline
U.S. Military Personnel / veterans are strongly encouraged to apply!
Qualifications
Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in IaaS/PaaS/SaaS in Cloud environments.
Experience with modern container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of cloud technology offerings and fundamentals.
Experience developing software with one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Golang.
Experience deploying and maintaining production workloads using one or more public cloud service providers with a strong preference for AWS or Azure.
Experience building and maintaining automated pipelines used for CI/CD, process automation, and/or data processing tasks.
Understanding of security best practices for application software, Kubernetes based platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc.)
Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) solutions using tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
Proven aptitude to create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
Experience building and configuring delivery environments supporting CI/CD using an Agile delivery methodology.
Exceptional communication skills and desire to work in a ‘badgeless” collaborative team environment consisting of Government clients, other Contractors, and Stakeholders.
Ability to work within Agile development teams to deliver an end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
Ability to work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and external development teams to build and configure a high performing, scalable, cloud-based infrastructure.
Experience working with DoD Platform One is a plus.
