Job Summary
Jefferson Community and Technical College Adult Education department has an opening for a Correctional Facility Instructor at KY Correctional Institution for Women (KCIW). This position will teach Monday and Wednesday 5p.m to 7p.m. Total work hours 6 (4 teaching plus 2 hours preparation time).
Job Duties:
The primary responsibilities are:
- Student intake, assessment analysis.
- Provide instruction in Reading Language Arts, Social Studies, Science and Math.
- Provide post-testing to students as required per hours of study.
- Prepare instructor and evaluate student’s needs.
- Participates in required professional development activities.
- Understands and applies privacy law and standards.
- Others duties as assigned by Jefferson Community and Technical College Adult Education Director.
This position reports directly to Jefferson Community and Technical College Adult Education Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (Education or related field preferred). Should earn NRS level 6 in TABE 11/12. The individual must be comfortable multi-tasking and organized
