We are seeking a motivated Dismantler/Tech to join our team. As a Dismantler, you will be responsible for disassembling vehicles and salvaging usable parts. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with power tools and hand tools. If you have a passion for vehicle maintenance and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, Will train and teach, we have onboarded a lot of young people looking to get into Automotive, small engine, marine and aerospace fields and tought them the basics all the way to advanced diagnostics and repairs.
Duties:
- Disassemble vehicles according to established procedures and guidelines
- Remove parts and components using power tools and hand tools
- Inspect salvaged parts for quality and usability
- Clean and prepare salvaged parts for resale or recycling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Skills:
- Proficiency with power tools, such as impact wrenches, grinders, and drills
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to use hand tools effectively, including wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate disassembly and part identification
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
