Busser @ The Assembly American Bar & Café
west dundee
The Assembly American Bar & Café opened its doors in 1978 for the first time in Hoffman Estates. Glenn Taylor was a part of the original team running the Assembly and in 1995 he and his family took over as the sole owners. In 2015 ownership fully passed to his son and daughter-in-law. The philosophy, in the ensuing years, was to maintain the original recipes and character of the restaurant. In 2016 the Assembly was featured on WGN’s food series Chicago’s Best featuring their Bionic Burger. Learn more about our menu at assembly-bar.com. In April 2023 a second location was opened in West Dundee.
