Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients
- Provide direct patient care in various settings, including homes and facilities
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps, cardiac catheterization, and sonography
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate discharge planning
- Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently
- Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and instruments in the sterile processing area
Skills:
- Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of [state]
- Minimum of [1] year of experience as a License Vocational Nurse (LVN) on field
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
