Instruction is done for the purpose/s of working with individual and/or small groups of students with special and diverse cognitive, physical and behavioral needs in a positive learning environment that allows for students' personal physical, social and cognitive development.
- Turn ln lesson plans on a weekly basis to Lead Teacher (as requested)

Attend planning/teacher preparation meetings with team and TCS Director

Prepare and present materials, work samples, and lessons to review and discuss at planning meetings with Lead Teacher

Monitor and chart progress for appropriate curriculum as advised by Lead Teacher

Instruct and lead teaching assistant in classroom responsibilities

Attend meetings with parents/guardians at a minimum of two times per school year

Assist students with daily living skills and medically necessary accommodations (i.e. tube feeding, tube venting, suctioning, toileting/diaper needs and feeding).

Attend TCS and Easter Seals meetings as specified by Lead Teacher and/or TCS Director
