We are patient forward practice where we want to offer a comfortable atmosphere and offer patients the best care we possibly can. **Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Medical/Clinical Assistant to join our single surgeon private practice team. As a Clinical Assistant, we want you to play a crucial role in supporting the practice provide exellent patient care and be supported in your own growth as a professional. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with diverse patients skillsets and opsticals however we want all members of our team to feel as though they are making a meaningful impact on the well-being of our patients.
**Responsibilities:**
-Assist in clinic, surgery scheduling, patient coordination and navigation.
- Work directly with the team and physician to optimize efficiency.
- Provide imput to better manage patients and all aspects of the function of our practice
- Provide basic life support and assist in emergency medical situations.
- Assist with medical-surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices to ensure accurate billing and documentation.
**Skills:**
- Ability to communicate with patients and team regarding complex medical issues
- Comfortable talking to patients about financials and realistic goals, even in difficult situations
- Ability to efficiently and accurately relay clinical information
- Certified in basic life support (BLS).
- Experience in medical-surgical settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical coding principles is a plus.
