Director of Operations
We are looking for a dynamic, results oriented, metric driven Director of Operations to join our team. This is a great position for a professional looking to make a significant impact in developing and growing an organization. This leader will be responsible for managing, directing and coordinating all plant activities at one of our manufacturing plants in Pittsburgh, PA and will report to the Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage all production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost standards are met
· Provide clear and active leadership and coaching working closely with direct reports
· Foster a collaborative working environment across all functions of the organization
· Drive a continuous improvement mindset
· Develop, measure, and improve key performance indicators (KPI’s) for the organization
· Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives in order to increase quality, efficiency and safety
· Work closely with customers to ensure customer expectations are achieved
· Develop and deliver annual operational budgets

Qualifications
· 4 year degree in business management, operations, engineering or equivalent experience
· 3 - 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or management position
· Food manufacturing experience preferred
· Previous experience / broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies
· Previous experience / strong understanding of budgeting / expense management
· Understanding of OEE / T-max Methodology
· Strong working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
· Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
· Proven track record managing to metrics
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Experience with manufacturing forecasting and planning
· Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
· Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
