Description:
Join our team as a Maintenance or Renovation Technician at Riva Ridge Real Estate Services. The Maintenance and Renovation Technicians assist in the maintenance, repair, and renovation of residential and commercial properties. These roles require a hands-on individuals with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. The ideal candidate will possess a range of skills related to general construction, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assistance in Renovation Projects:
a. Assist in the execution of renovation projects including demolition, construction, and finishing tasks.
b. Follow plans and instructions from the renovation team lead or supervisor.
2. Maintenance and Repairs:
a. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities.
b. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
c. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure buildings remain in good condition.
3. Carpentry and Construction:
a. Assist in framing, drywall installation, and painting.
b. Install flooring, cabinetry, and fixtures as needed.
c. Work on both minor and major construction tasks as part of renovation projects.
4. Plumbing and Electrical Work:
a. Assist in installing and repairing plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, and water heaters.
b. Perform basic electrical work such as installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
5. General Labor:
a. Assist in loading and unloading materials and tools.
b. Keep the work area clean and organized.
c. Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and in good working condition.
6. Safety Compliance:
a. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
b. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
c. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:

High School Diploma Or Equivalent

Valid Driver’s License

Previous experience in maintenance or related fields preferred, but not required.

Basic understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices.

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, colleagues, and management. Clear communication for addressing resident requests and documenting work performed.
