We are currently seeking the above type of experienced Truck Drivers to join our team. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations and providing our clients and their partners with a better experience than they have ever had using personality, kindness, integrity and hard work . This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and have a strong work ethic as growing a company to do big things takes big effort.
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
- Occasionally using a pallet jack to load and unload cargo from the truck
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations without any form of distracted driving
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks including actual pre-trips and checking actual tire pressures. This keeps us on the road and helps get you home without delay!
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers as needed in a caring and professional way, all with kindness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with no transmission restrictions (can legally operate a manual transmission)
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a CDL Class A Truck Driver
- Knowledge of operating various types of trucks, such as manual transmissions and yard/terminal trucks, Lift gate trailers, etc.
- A self starter that understands revenue based pay and how to make that the most fruitful for them
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
