Zack Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant in the Kansas City, MO area to join our team. We need an OT to enable skill development and provide task/environmental adaptations as needed to assist the child in attaining his/her highest level of independence possible behavioral health school setting.

Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities
- Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Utilize specialized techniques such as splinting, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices
- Provide guidance and support to caregivers in implementing therapy strategies at home or in other environments
Qualifications:
- Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Experience in occupational health
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions
