Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The Parts Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to support our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with vendors to procure necessary parts and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Quickbooks
- Monitor demand planning to anticipate parts needs and prevent shortages
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to optimize costs
- Process orders and track shipments to ensure timely delivery
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with the procurement team to streamline supply chain processes
- Support logistics operations by coordinating part shipments and deliveries
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in parts management preferred
- Proficiency in Quickbooks inventory management systems
- Strong negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers
- Knowledge of procurement management principles
- Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
- Understanding of supply chain logistics and supply chain management concepts
