SUMMARY: Supports health service, education and guidance for hospital employees through a comprehensive employee health program. Provide appropriate management of work-related injuries, illnesses and exposures, exercising discretion and independent-decision making that acts in the best interest of both the employer and employee.
Required Education/Training: Graduate from a school of nursing
Required Experience: Two (2) years' nursing experience in a hospital setting
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri; BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
Preferred Education/Training: Bachelor of Science in Nursing; graduate from an accredited nursing program
Preferred Experience: Recent Employee Health Nurse experience; recent case management experience with Missouri Worker's Compensation; familiarity with employer-based Wellness Programs
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Ergonomics Specialist (CEAS I/II); Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
