Summary:
This position will be responsible for consulting with customer/subcontracted installation companies during the construction and final phases of installation. Ensuring that everything is operating effectively and in accordance with all specifications, codes, and Irwin engineering standards.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subcontracted installation companies, project managers and engineers to understand project requirements.

Identify focus areas within custom projects to develop actionable items to increase project success.

Document all activities and provide detailed reports. Communicate necessary changes to ‘as-built’ drawings.

Troubleshoot, brainstorm solutions, and/or resolve any issues that arise during the installation phase.

Verify system performance and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Be able to provide training and support to the operations teams on newly installed systems.

Ensure all operational documentation is transferred to the project's operation team.

Provide constructive feedback to Project Managers and Engineers based on learnings from on-site experience.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

Proven experience in commissioning within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of building systems and construction management processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-
Travel 50% of time.
