Overview:
The Processing Manager leads a dynamic team of mortgage processors, ensuring seamless loan closings and funding within the Encompass system while adhering to company guidelines and policies. In this role, you'll ensure accurate preparation of loan documents, facilitate smooth interactions among all parties with a focus on enhancing the borrower’s experience, and drive the processing team’s productivity and efficiency. This position offers full remote flexibility, with a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 plus monthly commission.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Training and Development: Create and update job aids and training materials to enhance processing procedures.

Analyze Reports: Review reports from the loan origination system to manage the Processing team effectively.

Address Inquiries: Respond to pertinent questions from both internal and external parties.

Direct Processing Department: Guide employees on company processes and procedures related to the Encompass loan origination system.

Manage Workflow: Oversee department workflow to achieve efficiencies as directed by Senior Management.

Resolve Customer Inquiries: Handle escalated customer inquiries, including processing status, funding regarding payments, escrows, or other issues.

Manage Expectations: Set and manage internal and external expectations regarding timelines and processes for the Processing team.

Assist Post-Closing Manager: Help resolve issues on closed loans as requested.

Assign Files: Allocate files to appropriate processing staff.

Multitask: Perform multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Respond to Audits: Address QA and QC monthly audit findings at the loan level as needed.

Coach and Train: Coach and train Loan Processors to meet job expectations successfully.

Conduct Team Meetings: Hold weekly team meetings to help achieve production and compliance goals.
Qualifications:

Knowledge of the mortgage loan process

Experience with regulatory compliance (RESPA, TILA, TRID, AIR, Reg X, Reg Z)

Knowledge of preparation and calculation of mortgage loan closing documents

Knowledge of title insurance commitments, exceptions, and legal descriptions

College degree preferred

5 years of mortgage processing experience required

2 years of management experience within the mortgage industry

Experience with Encompass LOS is highly preferred
