Who we are: We are a private Orthodontic Specialty Office in North Austin
Our Mission: We strive to be the best part of our patients’ day and to provide properly timed, state-of-the-art orthodontic care in a respectful, caring, and safe environment. We create beautiful smiles and develop life-long relationships with our patients and their families.
Qualifications we are looking for: Registered Dental Assistant with up-to-date Texas RDA and x-ray certification. No orthodontic assisting experience required but experience with clear aligner, self-ligating braces systems, and Dolphin software are a big plus. Qualities we are looking for:
- A “Rock Star” personality that other people instantly remember
- A ‘teammate’ with a positive outlook, with high energy, and someone we can count on every day
- Best Candidates will possess these un-trainable traits: intelligence, great sense of humor, detail oriented, confident, calm, thorough and accurate under pressure.
Job Description and duties include but not limited to:
- Punctual person who loves to start the day prepared and ready to see Team Members, Doctors and patients in an organized clinical area.
- Know your patients and procedures for the day and be prepared to discuss them in the Morning Huddle
- Welcome all patients with a great attitude and give your best patient care throughout the day (make their day!)
- Work in an organized and timely manner with attention to detail and thorough patient care assisting the Doctor with your best for every appointment
- Assist the Doctor by having everything you need for the patient's procedure and communicate the needs and concerns of the patient to the Doctor
- Be confident in relaying the progress of the patient’s treatment to the parents and answer all questions they may have regarding their child
- Discuss the patient’s oral hygiene and be thorough with patient education throughout treatment, so the patient has a great experience
- Be able to discuss treatment plans to patients and parents
- Be a Team Player throughout the day assisting Team Mates in seeing all patients on time. Be flexible.
- Assist with the sterilization process, restocking of rooms and lab duties throughout the day
- Help Teammates close the office at the end of the day and prepare for the next day. Everyone should be able to leave on time.
- Have the ability to have a flexible schedule, most weeks Monday-Thursday but we add Fridays as needed to best care for our patients
If you feel you have the above qualities and traits, if you love life, love to laugh, and are eager to learn, we would like to speak with you. We are looking for someone who is respectful to fellow Team Members, Doctors, and patients and is genuinely nice and kind.
