Eccovia is looking for a Product Manager to join our product team and help drive the direction of leading software products in the social services industry. This role will take ownership of key solutions within existing product lines and help develop new SaaS products. This person will be expected to work closely with leadership and engineering to develop and deliver on an exciting product roadmap.
What you’ll do
- Formulate, test, and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
- Create, maintain, and execute on a product roadmap and prioritize features for development
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs, getting and maintaining alignment with stakeholders
- Plan new features using data-driven product methodologies
- Provide transparency to the feature prioritization process
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure their voice is heard
- Document product requirements
- Work closely with leadership, Engineering, and other members of the Product team to ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time
- Contribute to release planning efforts including release schedule, release announcements, deployment readiness, and retrospectives
- Participate in sprint planning and execution, including daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives as needed
- Provide and track product KPIs
- Provide insights to enhance a greater user experience that is relevant and easy to use by our client demographic
- Learn the market needs and our drive our capability to meet them
- Function as the hands-on central resource as the product moves through the Agile development process
- Advocate as the ‘voice of the customer’ during product development
What you’ll need
- 5+ years’ experience as Software as a Service (SaaS) Product Manager demonstrating knowledge of gathering user requirements & creating product roadmaps for engineering teams
- An ability to manage ambiguity and complexity with confidence, calm and guide others through uncertainty
- A Strong desire to build and foster internal and external partnerships
- An ability to exhibit genuine user empathy and passion for their needs
- An ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
- A willingness to take on ad hoc projects and accommodate shifting priorities
- A history of successful management of challenging simultaneous cross-functional projects
- An ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences
- A passion to create satisfying user experiences
- Experience working with engineering to prototype and iterate on features to improve an end-to-end user journey
- Creative thinking skills with the ability to be resourceful solving formidable problems
- Solid experience with Agile software development
- Excellent writing skills, ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams and attention to detail and quality
- Familiarity with JIRA for managing user stories and Agile release cycles
- A strong sense of ownership and passion for technology.
- An analytical and proactive curiosity that is willing to dive into the numbers and research to find novel insights and new product ideas
- An ability to create practical communication patterns with efficient documentation and wireframes
- Experience in the health and human services sector is a plus
- Experience using ProductBoard is a plus
