Position Summary
As a Team GRS Water Damage Restoration Technician starting at $52,000-$60,000 OTE, you will be responsible for assisting in demolition and removal of all damaged components including drywall, flooring, carpet, structural lumber, plumbing and electrical. You will be directly involved in preparing structures for re-construction by assisting the Lead Technician and Project Managers in repairing water damage sources, installing drying equipment and applying anti-mold growth product to ensure safety and cleanliness for reconstruction. Your success will be determined by your ability to consistently be on-time and prepared for each job, as well as your ability to learn and retain new information and skills as this position is an entry-level, development role with promotion to Technician available when performance standards and industry knowledge requirements are met.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in surveying damaged properties to see what can be saved.
- Cleaning and storing damaged properties until they can be returned to the home.
- Removing and replacing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumbar, and carpets.
- Handling any issues caused by water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold.
- Sanitizing structural features that can be saved.
- Maintaining and clean and orderly job site, organizing tools and ensuring trucks are stocked daily with necessary equipment and supplies.
- Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment.
- Assisting lead technician and technician team with installation of de-humidifying equipment to ensure moisture reduction to acceptable levels
- Develop positive working relationships with fellow restoration team members and learn as much as possible from mentors and your direct leaders.

Job Requirements
- Must have clean driving record and valid drivers license
- Must be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate to Greenville, SC
- Must be available and able to work on-site from 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and be willing to dispatch to emergency jobs with restoration teams when necessary (2x pay for hours worked outside traditional working hours)
- Must be comfortable learning and using cloud-based technology systems such as Xactimate, G-Suite, Word, Excel, Quickbooks and CRM systems (ProvenJobs)
- Must be comfortable and capable of both written and verbal communication
- Must be capable of lifting 80lbs.
