Salary: $65,000 - 70,000 based on experience
Visiting Nurse Association of NWI is seeking a QI Compliance RN to serve as a subject matter expert for compliance related issues. Collaborate with all aspects of operations in order to provide regulatory compliance, interpretation and support. Collaborate with leaders to drive compliance for regulatory requirements in the business processes required to meet those standards. Identify and escalate possible impacts and associated business risks, as needed. Collaborate with leaders to drive quality initiatives in accordance with the QAPI plan.
SUMMARY:

Provides guidance in support of the organization strategy for complying with all regulatory requirements related to clinical and non-clinical activities.

Promotes compliance and drives change throughout the organization to strategically improve and integrate regulatory compliance into processes, systems and employee awareness.

Stays abreast of and reviews regulatory activity in the industry to identify potential risks for the organization.

Supports operational areas by collaboratively identifying the need for development of processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.

Develop in-depth knowledge of organization processes through interviews and document review.

Participates in business process improvement efforts and compliance improvement initiatives.

Oversees implementation of the annual Compliance Audit plan; to include performing audits as needed, compiling findings, reporting outcomes and making recommendations for corrective action plans.

Develops a systematic, organization-wide process for improving organizational performance.

Identifies improvement opportunities, develops strategies and utilizes resources effectively to improve quality and promote service excellence.

Implements a system for data collection, analysis, trending and reporting that is consistent with agency needs and regulatory requirements. Prepares timely reports.

Oversees activities and outcomes of Performance Improvement Projects.

Escalates and communicates risks, contributing factors and recommendations when warranted and within a timely manner.

Effective participates/chairs various committees, including QAPI and Compliance.
Requirements:
QUALIFIED CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:

RN; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing and four years of clinical experience required

Must have solid understanding of QI principles and be able to recognize and resolve opportunities to improve as well as resolve conflicts between operational practices and guidance

Exceptional people/interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, including public speaking and computer fluency; must be able to be creative as needed
