A family-owned franchised dealership is in search for a Strong Leader to serve as a General Manager.
The right candidate will be highly proficient in variable & fixed ops, will lead the team, hold meetings, train staff, and support the culture in every way.
They will be a leader, committed to growing the business by increasing market share and developing loyal customers.
The General Manager is expected to uphold high ethical standards, have excellent customer service, and create a positive sales environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify coaching needs and promote training opportunities
- Hire, mentor, and monitor the performance of department managers
- Set an example of professionalism through actions and appearance
- Ensure target revenues are met or exceeded
- Responsible for managing profitability in both the new and pre-owned vehicle departments
- Assist in developing and managing an effective advertising and marketing plan
- Responsible for developing a productive relationship throughout the dealership
- Be the biggest promoter of customer service index (CSI) throughout the dealership
- Maintain a positive and ethical working relationship with all employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers.

- Excellent organizational skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
