Are you a passionate and skilled dancer looking to share your love of dance with others? High Impact Dance is seeking an enthusiastic dance instructor to join our team. We are a diverse and welcoming dance studio dedicated to providing quality instruction in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop, and acro. Responsibilities:
- Develop and teach dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels in various dance styles.
- Create lesson plans and choreography that are engaging, progressive, and aligned with the studio's curriculum.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, helping them improve their technique, musicality, and performance skills.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable and supported.
- Collaborate with other instructors and studio staff to organize showcases, recitals, and other performance opportunities for students.
- Stay updated on current trends and developments in the dance industry to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and inspiring.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong dance background in any of the following styles: contemporary, lyrical, jazz, ballet, or hip hop, and especially acro/tumbling and tap.
- Previous teaching experience, preferably in a dance studio setting.
- Ability to work with students of different ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Enthusiasm for working with a diverse community and promoting inclusivity.
- Professionalism and reliability in fulfilling teaching commitments.
- CPR and first aid certification (preferred but not required).

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 8 per week
