We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to to manage client accounts, drive multi-state territory sales growth, and foster strong relationships with key clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for highly technical industrial product sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Meet with new and existing customer stakeholders to market and gain approval for company products and services.
- Generate leads to expand customer base and drive business development initiatives to meet sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies and engage clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the customer service/quotations team to deliver customized solutions to clients.
- Engage in continuous learning about the industry, stay updated on technological advancements, and participate in industry and trade show events.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or relevant field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in account management, sales engineering, or inside/outside sales of engineered industrial products and ability to sell to engineering teams and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of industrial, construction, and/or municipal sales and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities.
- Proactive hunter mentality with a focus on customer relationship development and management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
