SUMMARY
This section will highlight/summarize the role’s key responsibilities, functions, and duties along with any other pertinent information.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:
- Assist in troubleshooting operational issues.
- Install, repair & maintain systems over 480v.
- Operate, troubleshoot, monitor and make terminations over 480v
- Design layout and Install PLC, wiring, terminations and perform troubleshooting.
- Install VFD’s, perform setup and troubleshoot.
- Maintain device calibration and install transmitters.
- Calibrate PT’s, TT’s, FT’s, LT’s, DPT’s, Flow switches, pressure switches, level switches, temp switches, DP switches, ETC.
- Install and perform setup of Micromotion/coriolis meters
- Perform Modbus terminations and troubleshooting.
- Perform pneumatic instrument installation and calibration.
- Install and calibrate control valves.
- Install, setup and calibrate radar units.
- Install, setup and troubleshoot fiber optics, use of test equipment, cable terminations, splicing.
- Troubleshoot communications & repair.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 18 years of age or older.
- 10 years Electrical and instrumentation related field experience.
- ISA or State certification is a plus but not required.
- High level mechanical and electrical aptitude and understanding of electrical theory and installation practices.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work well with others.
- Must be detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
- Should have good PC skills.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with operations staff, management, contractors and internal support groups.
- A basic understanding of process is needed.
- Must be able to use the HMI in the process of troubleshooting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk and use hands and arms to manipulate, grasp or reach.

- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively
- This position will primarily work outside in all weather conditions, sometimes in precarious places.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, such as flame retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, etc.
- May be called upon to work extended hours to cover shifts or provide support during non-routine activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
