Requirements:
- Time management and organizational skills;
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Responsibilities:
- Promptly answer customer phone calls and in-person customer inquiries regarding new orders, changes to existing orders and questions regarding old orders; all in-person and phone inquiries must be answered with a minimum wait time; handling high volume customer inquiries via phone, fax and email;
- Become familiar with and gain knowledge in the use of the Alert Easy Pro software package to manage customer orders;
- Read, study and absorb any training and written materials provided by managers to accelerate and improve the completion of one’s duties and the likelihood of the success of customers’ events;
- Be customer-focused. Good communication, listening, detail-oriented, taking notes; understanding what each customer’s needs are;
- Learn and become familiar with company inventory;
- Follow company procedures for all processes including, but not limited to, opening and closing will-call contracts, receiving and dispersing equipment, and sub rentals when necessary;
- Suggest substitutions when requested inventory is not available for customer events;
- Actively suggest additional equipment for customer events based upon event knowledge and training;
- Look for opportunity to up sell; learn the ability to persuade the customer to rent upgraded equipment by making suggestions and presentation;
