Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities, utilizing teletherapy platforms to reach students remotely.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to address students' specific communication and swallowing goals, in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Deliver engaging and interactive speech and language therapy sessions via teletherapy, leveraging innovative approaches to maximize student participation and progress.
Collaborate closely with school-based teams, including teachers, special education staff, and administrators, to ensure coordinated care and support for students with speech and language needs.
Monitor students' progress regularly and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as needed to support their academic and social-emotional success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP-related documentation, adhering to school policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
Valid state license or eligibility for licensure in the state of residence.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in schools, with teletherapy experience preferred.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice in speech-language pathology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport remotely.
Proficiency in using teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
