The Production Art Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of all production art that is utilized for the purpose of imprinting customer logos onto safety apparel. The supervisor position will be responsible for managing a team of production artists; and ensuring that all production art meets the company’s standards for imprint production, as well as correctly maintaining customer logo guidelines. Duties will include, but are not limited to, coordination of all inbound/outbound art requests, task assignments among production art team, managing best practices for art setup for garment application, departmental performance tracking and reporting. The position will be the single point of contact for ensuring all proof production is completed within an acceptable timeframe and in accordance with the company’s standards for quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee the production art team to ensure imprint proofs are submitted in a timely manner.
Coordinate with sales/quoting team to communicate what can/can’t effectively be imprinted
Answer all CSR questions and concerns regarding art, proofs, garments, orders, etc.
Assist with art/logo recreation and/or proofing when/if needed
· Review/approve all finished imprint proofs and send directly to the customer
· Review production output to ensure quality standards are maintained
· Maintain industry standards for the creation/use/storage of art production files
· Oversee and assign workload as needed to maintain company designated turnaround times
· Coordinate with the transfer production team to ensure compatibility with production processes
· Coordinate with merchandising team to ensure imprint positioning maintains product compliance
· Coordinate with warehouse/merchandising team(s) to getting garment samples for
confirming accurate imprinting measurements
· Manage, train, coach, and track performance of artist staff
· Track/report departmental expenditures
· Review production output to ensure quality standards are maintained
Qualifications:
Adobe Creative Suite
3+ years of production experience
Supervisory experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 per year
