Description
The David Geffen School of Medicine is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist to join the multi-disciplinary team of Operation Mend . Operation Mend provides advanced surgical and medical treatment for post-9/11-era warriors injured during combat operations or while training for service, as well as comprehensive psychological healthcare and social support for both wounded warriors and their family members. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Operation Mend, Dr. Jo Sornborger and Co-Medical Directors, Dr. Bruce Kagan and Dr. Walter Dunn, the adult psychiatrist will perform primary duties including comprehensive psychiatric assessments of veterans with PTSD and TBI for Operation mend and complete reports on the assessments.
The Adult Psychologist will support a veteran-centric panel for approximately 10 hours a week via telehealth to delivering world-class care.

The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is 275,000.00 on a pro-rated, 1 FTE.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates are required to:

Hold a M.D. or D.O.

Be Licensed to practice in the state of CA

Board certified/eligible in Adult Psychiatry
