As a Traveling Construction Superintendent you will be the linchpin of our on-site operations, ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and excellence. Reporting to senior management, your responsibilities will include:
· Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
· Ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting regular site meetings, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
· Coordinating tasks across various trades and crafts to maintain a harmonious and efficient job site.
· Managing and updating construction documents, and ensuring all work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
· Responding swiftly to any unforeseen challenges or delays, showcasing your resilience and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrating expertise in both interior and exterior architectural finishes as self-performed trades.
Experience/Skills
· A strong track record of successful on-site management in construction, particularly in federal government, higher education, healthcare, and/or industrial sectors.
· Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, CMiC, BIM360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and relevant industry tools.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proven ability to manage stress and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years in construction, notably as a general contractor in federal government, higher education, healthcare, and/or industrial construction.
· High school diploma required; four-year degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
· Reads and understands contract documents (plans, specifications & addenda).
· Strong understanding of local, multi-state, and federal construction regulations and code.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 100% nationwide.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
