Administrative Assistant to CEO & Operations
Goodspeed|Merrill is seeking a detail orientated, proactive and personable individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant to the CEO and Operations to support a thriving and growing law firm. This role is pivotal in managing reception responsibilities, administrative duties and assisting the Chief Executive Officer.
We are looking for 3+ years of related experience & knowledge. Candidates should be highly organized with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team.

Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to take direction from others, and ability to work independently on assignments with demonstrated judgment on when to seek assistance
- Consistent punctuality and dependability
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail
- Professional demeanor and experience communicating through different channels, and with different personalities/audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality
- Marketing experience is a plus
Reception and Administrative Duties:
- Answer incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate person
- Greet all guests
- Maintain break rooms, including cleaning, stocking and ordering supplies to ensure a tidy and well equipped environment
- Maintain and order office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained
- Collect, sort, and scan all incoming mail; accept and deliver packages promptly
- Clean and maintain conference rooms, including scheduling and maintaining calendars
- Maintain the firm calendar ensuring accuracy and updating events and appointments as necessary
- Act as a liaison for our website provider, facilitating communication and updates as required
- Coordinate lunch orders for monthly/weekly meetings and events
- Organize and execute firm celebrations/events to foster team camaraderie and enhance the firm's culture
- Provide support to attorneys and support staff as needed in various administrative tasks
Assistant to Chief Executive Officer Duties:
- Assist in CEO projects, surveys, and various events to promote a positive work environment.
- Support administrative aspects of projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Manage the CEO’s calendar
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Experience:
- 3+ years experience in office administration
- High School Diploma required
- Solid knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills

Benefits and Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $62,000 depending on experience.
We also have a bonus program.
