Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our Electrical Engineering Department. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings and plans for transportation projects, ensuring precision and adherence to industry standards. This position requires collaboration with engineers, architects, and other team members to deliver high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and prepare detailed CAD drawings for electrical projects.
- Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure drawings meet project specifications and requirements.
- Review and modify drawings based on feedback from project managers and clients.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD and REVIT software to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Associate degree in drafting required.
- Experience in drafting, with a focus on electrical drawings highly preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT programs.
- Comfortable in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a plus.
- Efficient, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
