Strategic Outcomes of this Position
This position provides full-time project management, employee and volunteer training, and support to various ministries, including assistance with disseminating communications, coordinating events, facilitating meetings, and providing ministry management solutions.
Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements
Ministry Management Solutions
- Develop relationships with ministries to understand individual needs

Answer general Planning Center Online (PCO) questions received by the office

Provide platform training to employees and volunteers

Perform triage to ensure appropriate assignment of tasks

Receive and answer support tickets

Provide reimbursement assistance to ministry leaders

Manage Planning Center applications
Project Management and Logistics
- Assist with planning and facilitation of Ministry Champion Check-Ins

Coordinate Project Management Process for event and resource requests

Manage ministry event and activity logistics with ministry leadersAdminister and assist ministry leaders with registration, facilitation, and promotion of both on- and off-campus eventsAssist with design and distribution of promotional materials

Implement an evaluation process for ministry events and activities

Monitor Church Center for updated platform information
Administrative Duties
- Provide periodic support for Executive team

Transition manual processes to automated processes

Assist with preparations for Ministry Champion meetingsDistribute & collect ministry-related documents (e.g. release forms, child protection policy statements, applications, etc.)

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands and/ or fingers, and reach with hands and arms. The position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 35 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Tuesday-Friday: 9:00-5:00 pm, Remaining schedule negotiable. Some Saturdays and evenings as needed to assist volunteer leaders.
Travel
Travel may be required to either campus location as necessary for ministry or employee events. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required.
Education and Experience

College degree in related field preferred
High school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Project management experience preferred
Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive
General knowledge of office management practices and procedures
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to computer, printer, copy machine, etc.
