Shipping Material Handler
As a Shipping Material Handler, you will be responsible to properly inspect the pallet quality conformance for every load and to make sure to secure the pallets inside the loads following the blocked and brace standards.
What you will do
- Perform standard pre-operational inspection of equipment and warehouse area.
- Ensure dock area is properly arranged following the 5'S program.
- Ensure to follow all Tetra Pak safety and quality rules and policies.
- Lock trailers into the dock.
- Sweep/blow out trailers.
- Inspect trailers before loading.
- Inspect pallets for damage while being loaded.
- Check off pallets while they are being loaded.
- Make sure the quantity of product loaded matches the loading packing list.
- Participate on the Autonomous Maintenance program (AM Program).
- Perform cycle counts..
We believe you have
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred.
- Prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to be trained and authorized as a lift truck operator per policy.
- Ability to read, understand and comply with work directions, training manuals, safety rules, standard operating procedures and World Class Manufacturing processes.
- Availability to work second shift: 3pm to 11pm. (Monday to Friday) and every other Saturday.
