The Director of Operations is responsible for the Agency’s workflow strategy and organization of all essential business processes. In addition to daily duties as Director of Operations, the position is also responsible for writing grants, and corporate funds requests and for raising restricted revenue for the Agency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide leadership oversight and administrative direction to Grants, Programs, Finance, HR, Payroll, Information Technology, and Facilities Maintenance departments.
· Supports the Chief Executive in any operational matters.
· Ensures the Family Navigation Center operates efficiently and smoothly by working with the Chief Programs Director.
· Oversees the administrative property management functions, to include, but not limited to, asset management, predictive maintenance systems, inventory management, preventive maintenance, capital improvement projects, procurement, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
· Closely working with the leadership team develops, implements, and evaluates all operational policies and procedures, and written manuals for all departments of the Agency. Ensures that all policies and procedures are in compliance with applicable local, federal, and state regulations and laws governing business operations.
· Ensures Agency data’s security, records retention, and destruction policies are followed and implemented correctly by all staff.
· Oversees the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of internal controls, as well as policies and procedures for all operations of responsibility. Reads, interprets, reviews, and complies with all federal and state legislation pertaining to operations for all departments.
· Serves as a key leader on real property (e.g., lease management and facilities management); technology services; risk management; security management; energy management; and property management. Review and approve all contracts and contractual amendments within areas of responsibility.
· Directs the development and installation of operational standards, procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow for all financial and administrative areas of responsibility.
· The position is responsible for submitting 3 to 5 million dollar written requests annually, to ensure the restricted budget goals of the Agency are achieved. The position will submit numerous grant and restricted funding request applications to various funding groups, foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
· Serves as a member of the executive leadership team.

Education and/or Experience: A three-year experience in non-profit direct service program management or agency operations, and grant-writing is required. A bachelor’s degree is desired.
Should possess valid unrestricted driver’s license, operational vehicle, vehicle annual registration, and current vehicle insurance (100/300 coverage is mandatory).
